Scaler 2.8 opens fine and works in Ableton 11 suite but will NEVER close or delete instance in Ableton. Windows 11 Professional - Open GL off in Scaler Setup -Reinstalled 3 times same issue. Vst2 and 3 same Issue! I can use Scaler in Maschine standalone fine and Reason as well. But Ableton will not work with it as a plugin. Please Help

Welcome to the forum. We’re having no issues running Scaler 2 as a VST3 plugin on our Windows 11 Pro machine running Ableton Live 11.0.12.

Could you please confirm that you are running the latest Scaler version 2.8.2? And what version of Live 11 are you using?

Also, would you mind clarifying for us what you mean when you say Scaler 2 will never close or delete instance? Does the plugin window simply stay open when you try to close it, or does the plugin crash, or does Ableton Live crash?

Yes it’s the newest 2.8 version and it happens on the newest ableton 11 - I found a way to use scaler as a standalone with a wrapper but not sure why in ableton it has an issue- I have installed it twice and same issue.
