Quite oddly, I use Scaler 2 again

Hi there

Quite oddly I restarted using it; in a totally different way from the past anyway

I am having a lot of fun playing my axe, and I found recently, thanks to Leon Russel and Chris Stenton vibes that I love playing piano with my bare hands

Nevertheless, studying my guitar is tough enough, so apart finding by ear some very odd chords and soloing along, I got I need some help to play a keyboard, leaving just bass & drums to plugins

On the other hand, as somebody knows, I hate any kind of robot because they cage my creativity, and I find that too much help is boring

this is why I am re-using Scaler 2 but limiting it to a chord and abbellishment-notes provider, so no patterns, arpeggios, phrases etc., no DAW sync

rhythm, dynamic, velocities, etc. are 100% under my control

Here is a link to a post with a sample made with the old SC2 workflow

Maybe I’ll drop some mini-tutorial showing how I am using SC2 now: I think they can be useful not only for SC2 lovers that are quite large, but also for SC3 users

cheers

Ciao Claudio, welcome back! Soon we will have you using Scaler 3. I think you will see some huge workflow improvements in 3.3 that you won’t be able to resist!

Well, who knows

If some of the new features are compatible with my new work-flow, maybe I’ll do the upgrade
