No more syncing multiple instances - Update now included in Scaler 3.2

It’s pretty high on our list. Not as high as it was before Multi-Channel MIDI out (being now just an Ableton issue really). Let’s see if we can get it in for 3.1 For now it’s a case of trying to prioritise what users want.

Thanks Davide. Can you let me know the refund process? Thanks

Works well especially in Ableton as there are two versions of scaler (midi and audio) on the workstation

I have both versions installed

You wonder if there were any Beta testers using Ableton. Without live sync scaler 3 is useless in my workflow. Will probably play around with the demo until that runs out after 14 days just to get a better feel for it.

Sorry for the bomb questions one after the other…Ableton has a sidechain input in the midi version. Why can’t you use that to route audio into midi version?

Might be tall order but is there any chance of Live Sync working across version 2 and 3 in future update?

I am running the Scaler 3 3.2.2 build. I had been running Scaler 2 in the past and have just returned to the product.

I just spent hours trying to figure out what I was doing wrong with Live Sync since the tutorials all behaved as though the sync was an active option.

Perhaps I am just missing something and the feature has been restored in 3.1 as you stated above.

I would have appreciated a heads-up in the tutorials.

I do not understand why Ableton users are treated as a afterthought.

I have developed systems all of my working life. We constantly upgraded our systems and our first commandment was 'the user shall not lose functionality." Why in the world would you not, at minimum, carry the base functionality across to new builds?

Will this feature be available soon?

If it is currently available for Ableton will you please give me the kiddies and toddlers version on how to implement it because I apparently need some hand holding.

Hey @kkatzer Look like you’ve been away. Not only did we rewrite the whole live sync but we mitigated Ableton’s limitations by having an internal Multi MIDI Out routing that works everywhere. This has been around for a while and in the build you are using. There is an updated manual and YouTube videos - no handholding required.

Thanks.

I’ll check it out.

I must have gotten into an old batch of tutorials.

Thanks again and my apologies for the tone of my original message.

I don’t like snarky sounding posts.

I am in the thick of a cold and I let it override my manners.

I love the tool you all have created. It is an exceptional piece of work.
