Music made with Scaler 3 - Examples!

Here is a more complex test

I started with my current preferred workflow, that is finding chords by ear on my keyboard (or my axe), and then I asked SC3 to understand what were those chords

Then I used SC3 suggestions to add other suitable chords, but it was hard to find them because the SC3 suggestions were almost never suitable to me; anyway here is the hard-earned SC3 State

Scaler state 7.xml (4.8 KB)

I found that using Keys Lock in the non-standard way doesn’t work always, but I don’t understand why; sometimes it seems that it start working only after a few beats; or maybe it works only with simpler chords, who knows?

Anyway, here is my Composition made with the standard Keys Lock workflow, but adding my chords anyway, and grace notes

Just an illusion… to be a classical pianist

Put together a suitable series of dark chords et voilà: a novel Claude Chopin jumps out

Classica.xml (1.1 KB)

Classica

I like the melody and pattern, but the instrument, I feel, could be more muted, to fit the ambiance. Less sharp transients on the piano sound, or maybe a low pass filter at 2khz?

Or a felt piano maybe?
I’ll try your suggestions
thanks pal

This is better maybe?

Classica low pass

yes, definitely, more muted, fitting the somber melody. did you use felt piano?

nope
I applied the low-pass filter at 2khz as you suggested

Hi folks

Here is my first (and last) contribution to the robotic music using Scaler 3 standalone
the title is a semicit, and an Italian mocking also

Uffa Robot

Nice @ClaudioPorcellana

Here is another one

Chord progression found by ear using Scaler 3; then used its GUI to understand where tickling the ivories (well, plastics actually  ) with my fingers

Inaudito.xml (606 Bytes)

Guitar played manually, then a bit of comping to fix two meh (slang, food for @bernd  ) parts

And here is the result: Inaudito

“Inaudito” means “unprecedented”, because for the first time I made a song manually

Well, I didn’t play bass and drums, but I am happy enough even if I am just a double-instrumentalist
