Hello, there? I have a question that’s been really confusing me lately. I just bought the latest MPC XL and I’ve been using the. MPC desktop software with scaler. I have my instruments scanned inside a scaler. So for instance I’ll have scaler running on say 3 tracks at the same time
On the first one instance, I’ll trigger chords and play them and record them directly into the MPC. The problem is, is that even if I don’t select the play button to play in scaler the keys lock will not follow those triggered chords, that I did manually. It only follows what chords are actually playing in scaler that you have to draw In time lenth etc. on that main track, I’m trying to get it to where I can trigger chords, record them into the MPC and then have scaler, follow them so I can add melodies.. So one track of scalers playing the trigger, another track is playing the keys lock, but for some reason, the keys lock will not follow. It’ll only follow what you would manually have to draw in on scaler, and that’s a bummer. Ifs anybody know if I’m doing anything wrong please help. Thank you so much for your time.
