I have a chord sequence, each chord is 8 bars long, there are 8 of them in total, making a total length of 64 bars. How do I drag the entire 64 bars into my DAW ? (cubase) The only way I can see is to manually select each chord (which involves scrolling through to and selecting them one by one until they are all selected) which has unforeseen consequences (It seemed to shrink of of the chord lengths) This is just PAINFUL ! is there a way to just select the entirety of a “track” and drag the ENTIRE midi sequence into my DAW ?
Hi @proteus. For your main track you can click and drag the arrow to the right of the track to drag the entire track as a MIDI clip to your DAW.
got it, thank you, although I have to be honest, its not particularly intuitive, If Im creating tracks, why cant I track the track itself ?
Proteus,
You can lasso all the chords and drag&drop them. This avoids the problem of selecting one by one but sometimes you need to scroll and lasso several of them again and continue. With 60 chords, this becomes too complicated.
@Tristan ,
Would it be possible to add a button “Select all chords” in C section? Maybe even in the A, too, if somebody detected a lot of chords and wants to transfer all of them to section C ?
This would be perfect because lassoing and scrolling dozens of chord is practically impossible. The same in the Arranger also.
Another idea. Ctrl click first chord to select, go to the last, Ctrl click again and this selects the group. Like in word, Excel or other applications.
