Is it possible in Scaler 3 to use Key Lock in Chord Note mode and still have all the other notes in the scale available? I ask because my method when using Scaler is to switch to Chord Note mode after I’ve found my progression, but I keep the chord triggers muted because I still want it to feel human. The problem is that in Chord Note mode I’m limited to the chord notes only. Is there a way to split the keyboard section so that one part plays the chord notes and the other plays the full scale, so I could add passing tones for the melody as well? it would work similar to how it does in scale notes mapped to white keys but with the option to mute chord triggers and play the notes of that chord individually . I’m aware of chord extensions but it seems to be limited to the notes played with the chord triggered instead of the full-scale being available. thanks in advance to any help offered.
Thank you for your Quick response Miki, but I’ve explored Chord Scales before, but it doesnt allow me to to play the chord notes muted I would have to play by by triggering the black keys and from my understanding I believe the key changes based on the root of the chord, which is a little different from what I am attempting to describe..
I play with Key Lock Chord Mute on (in chord note mode) so when I press the black key the chord isn’t played instead I have the first 5 or 7 depending my voicing laid out on the white keys starting at C the problem i have is that it seems as if im limited to only the notes from the chord triggered instead of the notes from the chord triggered in addition to the scale if that makes sense. I apologize for my poor explanation hope this helps ,and thank you once again
