Jamming with my Meytar

Hi folks
Here it is me, playing a blues with my brand new Beytar
(a Boheringer keytar )

I know, my outfit is too ugly to look at, but my favourite shop Portobello is no more the same, so I am lost

cheers

I was lucky enough because the self-tapping screws on the bottom of the Swing keyboard are fastened to the metal internal chassis, so I just had to cut one third of the 2 screws of the safety strap pins, and to screw them in place of two Swing keyboard’s screws: A clean job and no holes to drill

And because a friend promised to play his sax in some of my pieces, here is a remind for him  Waiting for a real sax

Sounds awesome! Playing blues on a keytar must be a great experience. How does the Beytar feel compared to other instruments you’ve used?

Hi pal

the difference between the keyboard on a table and the same keyboard with the strap is in the hands position that can be adjusted more easily to be ergonomic

I mean, to have the keyboard on top of a desk you need a desk, or a keyboard support, that can be raised and lowered and mine is not

This is why I decided to attach a guitar strap to a regular keyboard

The other advantage is that you can play standing, instead of sitting, and you can move yourself a bit also, as far as the USB cable is long enough

Well, after having realized that my old M-Audio Keystation 32 has the same number of keys, but it is lighter, I decided to use the latter as a keytar: So now I have a Meytar

BTW, I also found that the Pitch Bend of the M-Audio is more reliable even if it is a couple of buttons

I’ll drop some shoots of the new stuf later
