Another idea: If there are no Studio One dump files, you still might find dump files in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\CrashDumps
I’m on the latest version of S1 and a complete uninstall and reinstall of Scaler 3 seems to have cleared up my constant crashes. Songs that were crashing every time on loading yesterday are loading up ok today. After the reinstall Scaler 3 Audio is also no longer getting blacklisted. This is on Win11 btw. good luck.
I use the latest S1 as well, Win 11 but I haven’t used Scaler that much lately so I can’t say too much to the crashing but I’ve started on a few projects and am back into it again, we’ll see how it goes and report if there any crashes on my side.
I have been having this problem too in my Windows 11 system but it seems the fix was quite simple. I uninstalled the program, went to users/me/AppData/Roaming (“me” is your user name) and deleted the folder Scaler 3. Which in turn deleted the Scaler 3.settings file which I suspect was the real culprit. I’m assuming it was either corrupted or had some incompatibilities with the new version. No more crashing for me.
Hi everyone, based on our testing and feedback from Studio One users, crashing issues should now be resolved in Scaler 3.2.1.
If you experience any issues after updating, please let us know with as much detail as possible so we can investigate further. Thanks.
