Could be great to have a better integration between Scaler and WA Instacomposer in order to compose faster and efficiently sharing information between the 2 softwares… Or to have the WA Instacomposer functionality included into Scaler 2 further versions. This would improve creating more complete tracks in more complete way. Thanks
Exist one video from Scaler showing how could be used WA Instacomposer with Scaler but still is a manual way to introduce the progressions into WA Instacomposer, so an automated way to do this or to integrate the WA Instacomposer functionality into Scaler 2 would be great.
I doubt your dream of incorporating “Instacomposer“ into Scaler is ever going to happen even though it’s a nice bit of Blue Sky thinking. I use both resources and the work arounds are easy. For example in Instacomposer , set the correct key, load a style which suites and matches the style, chords and bar length of your scaler chord sequence. Then in IC, generate pads, melodies and base lines, save the midi and edit till you have what you want from both system.
I personally use this approach with IC and other generative resources.
Thank you for sharing your knoledge on this. One question, not sure if you mention on your comments Instacomposer and IC. Not sure if you refer to Instacomposer on both cases or one of it is regarding Scaler.
