It’s great that Scaler 3 can listen to things, perform analysis, and extract chords. But generally speaking, I don’t use that feature much. Unfortunately, from the minute I launch Scaler 3 on my iPad, its use of the microphone is enabled constantly, and I can find no way to disable it. I also don’t find any mention in the manual of how to do that. Which prevents me from using the microphone in any other application as long as Scaler is open. How can I stop scaler from hogging the microphone?
Hi @Phileosophos This one is pretty simple.
Settings (top right hamburger menu) > Audio/MIDI/Bluetooth
Disable (uncheck) microphone
Let me now if that works for you.
Aha! Thanks, somehow I was missing the audio settings. That’s helpful. It would be even better to have an option to use it only when the app is in the foreground.
