Maybe I missed it, but does Scaler 3 have the ability to generate completely random chord progressions in a particular key?
Yes, new feature in Scaler 3 is generating chord progressions based on some nifty ML. You can simply do this in the Browse Tab by hitting the Suggest Button and Pattern Fill. If you have a scale selected it will base it on that. If you go to Sketch Page and hit the suggest mode it will also do the same thing. You can do it over 8 lanes to get 8 chord progressions. Scaler looks internally to continually tell itself what works best next. It’s very unique. If you don’t have a scale selected it comes up with new keys and scales too!

Thank you very much for the quick reply - I do appreciate it. I think I’ve got it figured out.
Now I’m curious about what the best way is to substitute a chord in one of those random chord progressions.

And, I’d talk up this feature more. This is one of the best Random Chord Generators I’ve found so far…
Just go to the Browse Page (main page) and hit ‘Suggest’ from there just click on a chord that you want to suggest from and it will take the rest into account! (see attached).
I totally agree and the thing I love about it so much is it is Machine Learning based on the content we have, IE all the magnificent hand made artist chord sets. I may make a quick video on this (Suggest Mode in Scaler 3). PS - It’s not random at all!
So, the source pool for the ML that creates the random progressions is the pre-set chord progressions in Scaler? That’s very clever…
Great video Davide Thanks…
