to be ablet to seperate a 4 voicing or triad chord into 3 or 4 different midi tracks..
nothing else to say. I use Scaler 3 in Dorico and it would be nice to split up chords into different voices. Alternative option would be to assign a different performance/motion/ you name it and only have one selected voice. So instead of having a triad.. a button or slider to choose only one of these.
Yeah I have been thinking about this too. We did have a Multi Midi Out which would just assign each voicing to a new channel in Scaler 2 but it has been superseded by Multi Channel Midi Out.
However like you I do lots of Orchestration but equally sometimes I just want the bass note playing so introducing a feature like Scaler 2 had wouldn’t work.
I think a mute tool that can be used in a Chord Follow track for individual notes would be a great place to start and allow most use cases.
@davide
This is not something I personally need but if you wanted to add such an orchestration feature you should look at Divisimate 2 for some ideas. I have no idea how easy it is to do that stuff but I’m told by my composer friend that Divismate is “where it’s at”.
Of course I love Divisimate it’s really powerful and cool and of course works with Scaler 3. We just need a fraction of those features so it’s easier to score out the box.
Yes totally agree i also have some Experience in divisimate 2. we dont need to have all those sophisticated presets stuff. Or trigger based arpegiators. Its more about having a pattern what that can be reused easy and fast on a Violin Leader for example. Deactivating notes could be a first step. In the long run it would be great to have such a feature that incooperates the pattern modifiers too without baking the chords aka making them red. For example i have motion one in the first 8 bars on all strings. In bar 9 to 16 i resuse the same pattern only on the first violin but with changes to the chord modifiers. I hope its understand able.
