FL Studio native plugins not scanning

Hello,

Scaler 3 doesn’t recognize FL Studio’s native plugins (Harmor, FLEX, Kepler, Transistor Bass, etc.) when scanning for VSTs.

I’ve pointed it towards the correct folder (C:\Program Files\Image-Line\FL Studio 2024\Plugins\Fruity\Generators on Windows), and I’ve even tried copying the .dlls into the default Steinberg VST2 folder, but they never show up after the scan.

However, Scaler does see them. They fly by during the scanning process and get tossed into Scaler’s “plugins64.ignore” file, so… I guess they’re just considered invalid?

Does anyone know a way around this, or what the issue might be?

Thank you

Hi @gnsn and welcome to the forum. Can you open these native FL plugins in any DAW other than FL? Try opening them in Reaper (it’s free to download). Native plugs are not designed to work with other hosts as per Logic, Ableton, Cubase, ProTools native plugs.

Hey thanks,

No I cannot. I just tried and Reaper doesn’t accept them either. I didn’t know that about native plugins, that’s a bummer.

Thanks for clearing that up!
