Maybe I am alone in being puzzled by presets. I haven’t seen anyone else mentioning them. I would assume a ‘preset’ is something that could be applied to my current ‘song’ or ‘arrangement’ or ‘session’, but it appears to be a ‘song’ in its own right. Yet some of the supplied presets are labelled ‘template’, so is there more than one kind of preset? And then at top left, I can save the current ‘state’. Why isn’t that a preset? It’s probably just me making the wrong assumption about the terminology, and I’ll get used to it, but at the moment it just doesn’t seem to fit with the way these terms are used elsewhere.
Yes you are correct, we moved on but the Standalone exclusive menu still refers to state (which is a preset). The three options should be renamed with the following:
- Load Preset
- Save Preset
- New Preset
