I would like my white keys to be able to play all chromatic notes. (ala the no-longer-available Dodeka keyboard).
In effect, this option would make any keyboard isomorphic (wrt. the white keys, anyway).
Technically, one might consider that 12 mappings would need to be available for fully comprehensive coverage possibilities -
middle C (physical) for example would whichever of the 12 notes was specified, and the chromatic notes would simply proceed up and down from there, with no regard to octave boundaries
In summary, the goal is to be able play all notes (12) on the white keys, giving no favoritism to one over another, and thus having all scale and chord fingerings be identical no matter what musical key you are playing in.
