Retired Teacher. I had to retire due to Shingles. Left me Profoundly Deaf, Partially sighted, with no use of my right leg and little of my right arm. Wheelchair user. Now have Neuregic Amyothropy, which translates into dying brain cells. This is progressive, and I now have Epilepsy, Menieres and was recently diagnosed with early-onset dementia. But what the heck, I’m still here!
I live in sheltered accommodation, which is basically a bedroom. Most of my day is taken up on the computer, mainly music related. I have a cochlear implant which can be plugged into my audio interface, giving me a built-in music studio in my head. There is a great whacking telly which I use as a monitor, giving me a chance to see something.
I enjoy my days as best I can and love a challenge.
