PC only. How about a Mac alternative?
The last time I used an Apple machine was when a little bomb appeared when there was an error, and all my carriables are Android, so I’m afraid I’m not able to help on this - apologies !
BlueCat Patchwork, Gig Performer, Apple Mainstage these cost money.
This is free vPlayer3
Using Scaler is really fun and intuitive but limited to be used inside a DAW. I would like to suggest having a standalone version in case if Scaler used for inspiration. For instance, I need to build a chords progression and I’m not going to use it in a DAW yet I just need Scaler to tweak and listen maybe complete on a piano or a guitar but not the DAW, it will be idle to open Scaler alone and start building it. Maybe add my keyboard to use it with Scaler but not through the DAW.
I’m ok with built-in sound especially the Grand Piano but need to run Scaler in stand-alone.
i use nanohost. works great. NanoHost freeware - minimalist VST host
