We’re currently exploring the possibility of an HTML version of the Scaler 3 user guide, which would allow users to override the blue background and set the text to black. This would also allow for language translation. We’re hoping it might be ready in time for the 3.1 update, but we can’t guarantee that just yet. If not in 3.1, then hopefully in a future update.
Just to better understand: could you let us know how the Table of Contents in the Scaler 3 user guides differs from the one in Scaler 2? Also, when you mention “bookmarks,” are you referring to the interactive PDF bookmarks used for navigation in PDF readers? I’ve checked the files on Preview for Mac and couldn’t spot a difference, so any detail you can share would be great. Feel free to upload images if that helps.
Also curious – when you say the headlines still look weird, could you clarify what you mean? Are you referring to the section headers at the top of each page where the navigation path and page number are shown—for example, Browse Page > Overview 28?
By the way, the current user guide–bundled with the latest version of Scaler 3 and also available via your Scaler Music account–has been updated since version 1.0.0.
