Hi @DaniVicente, welcome to the forum. The final Scaler version 2.9.1 update has been submitted now and should be publicly available for download via Plugin Boutique soon. So keep and eye out for that in your account which should solve your SWOD issue, but please let us know here in the forum if you continue to see any Pro Tools related issues.

I’ve been trying the beta 2.9.1 that was sent on July 30 in PT 2024.6.0 and it works fine until its channel is armed for record. Constant clicks and pops and -9093 messages. M1Pro with 32GB

The 2.9.1 gold master addresses the CPU hit at lower buffer sizes - much better. being uploaded to PIB as we speak and will be available Monday 17th Sept.

Hi folks. Just adding that the 2.9.1 Mac OS beta release we privately sent out was creating a new AAX folder inside the regular Pro Tools plugins folder and installing the update there. So the 2.9.1 plugin was being installed in addition to the 2.9.0 plugin instead of replacing it.

In our experience Pro Tools was still finding the 2.9.1 plugin in the new AAX folder so it caused no issues, but if any 2.9.1 beta users are still experiencing Pro Tools issues, it might be worth manually deleting the new AAX folder (if it exists) before installing the public release of 2.9.1 just to avoid any potential conflict.

But make sure Scaler2.aaxplugin and ScalerAudio2.aaxplugin are the only files in this folder before deleting, so you don’t accidently delete any other plugins.

Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-ins > AAX
