Is it possible to use Scaler 2 or Scaler 3 with MPE+ hardware like Linnstrument, Expressive E Osmose, Haken Continuum, Roli Seaboard, Embodme Erae Touch?

Scaler 2 and MPE

I think I read that Scaler 2 was going to be MPE compatible. Great tool as is but just wondering if I’m missing a setting or there’s a work around.

you read right, we plan on making Scaler compatible with MPE in the future.

Even though we like the added expressiveness MPE brings, it only impacts a limited number of users and other features have been prioritized for now.

It is still on the todo-list and we will get to it for sure. Is there anything Scaler is preventing you from doing?

I wonder if for example you have Linn-instrument which is set-up in chromatic scale and you have MPE on Scaler 3.0 how will you do the portamento in a certain scale ?

You will move your finger through the chromatic scale from left to right or vice versa and the Scaler 3.0 should react how exactly ?
