# Why the Synths and Instruments from Waves are not found after scanning?

Whithin the installation process, my plugins have been scanned, to use them within Scaler. Some are found - but not a single Instrument from Waves. Electric 88, Element, Finger Bass, Codex etc.

I suppose that this is related to the folders where these plugins are. Did you try using the custom folder option during the install of Scaler 3. This option can be found in Scaler 3 v. 1.0.6 so if you still do not have it, I recommend you to download it from your ScalerMusic or Plugin Boutique account .
