# Update on humanize (velocity, note spread)?

It has been a request for years. Any update on this? The current humanize is too simple, it doesn’ work in many cases because there is no control. Especially when you play Scaler live.
Sometimes more note spread is needed, sometimes just velocity. The amount for both value should be individual adjustable to adjust it to the needed style or the instrument.

Totally agree @clavia We almost got there but I never want anything rushed. Will get there for a version 3.1 or 3.2.

I use it in my DAW (Bitwig) all the time. I am not sure why the plugin should add that feature? I am not using Scaler as an instrument and I place the humanization before the instrument I am using. Personally, I would never use Scaler in a live session.
