# Single chord voice/color changes? Edit Chord Button?

Hi @FWSchreck, just to chime in here – there’s a [known issue](https://forum.scalermusic.com/t/list-of-known-issues-descriptions-solutions-timing/20938) where chords that are not exactly 1 bar in length can’t be replaced directly on the main track, _unless_ the replacement is dragged from the main track itself.

This will be fixed in a future update. In the meantime, a temporary workaround is to first drag the chord to an empty space on the main track, then replace or swap from there.
