I have a chord progression in G but it starts on the C chord and so Scalar sets that as the I. When I use the + - to change the key it then changes the chords, not the key.
Any help appreciated.
Never mind. Started again and used the right scale. Still think it would be useful to have a place were you can select the key signature but this was my mistake for not understanding the creator’s workflow and an easy enough fix.
We could but we don’t automatically change scale as that might lock people in / lose the scale. Once you make any changes to the Main Track chords you can select them all and ‘Detect Key’ and that will update the scale. Please check our tutorial videos they are quite handy and save you some time in getting to know and use S3. Hope that helps.
