Section C → Play Button. Expected Behaviour?

Just checking whether this is expected behaviour as I’m experiencing some interface issues

Tried the play button on the left, and the playhead keeps going.
No “back to start” button. Tried double-clicking the play button. Dragging the playhead works but it’s a bit cumbersome.

This is not obvious, but works (no need dragging the playhead):

Double-click on any measure (e.g. the first one in your case) and playhead will stop at the selected measure (1) and you can press play and start or continue playing.

Hi @Miki thanks so much for the explanation and taking time to provide the illustrations - really appreciate it.

I’m wondering if the behaviour has something to do with DAW sync - in the interim I discovered that my spacebar does the trick.

Still, if a play button is provided on the interface that can start the DAW playback in DAW-Sync mode, it would be nice to have a double-press (or another button) that sends the playhead back to the beginning.

In the mean time, I also have your method. Thanks

Yes, space works fine in DAW sync mode, but if you just want to use Scaler with its buttons and functions, e.g. for testing, you won’t need DAW sync and my method will work.

If your DAW playhead is around the bar 79 (1) and you press Space, Scaler will do nothing because its last bar is, for example, 68. I prefer using just Scaler controls if I need playing only in what I defined in the plugin.
