# Scaler not opening

Hi @ksirdidthat

Sorry to hear you have experienced this issue.

**How to Resolve:**

1. Open **Finder** and click **Go** in the menu bar.
2. Hold the **Option** key to reveal the **Library** folder, then click it.
3. In the **Library** folder, locate the **Scaler Music** folder.
4. Delete the file named **settings.pref**.
5. Restart your computer.
6. Reinstall **Scaler 3**.
7. Restart your computer again.

This should fix this issue, but if it persists after following these steps, please let us know.
