I purchased my copy of Scaler EQ 1.1.3 (current version) through Plugin Boutique and registered it via the license file provided by Plugin Boutique after purchase (July 2025). When I use the plugin, the About window, opened on Registration section, pops up periodically on its own (every 10 mins). The window shows my email which I used to activate and register the plugin. It has no impact on sound or functioning of the plugin, but I have to close it over and over and over again. What triggers it and how can this issue be mitigated? - Thank you!

Additional note: I see this issue both, with a plugin in Reaper, and with the standalone version of scaler EQ (which I absolutely unable to figure out how to use, i.e., how to feed any sound into it).
Search in Google suggests the following: “Scaler EQ About window popping up every 10 minutes is because the plugin is running in an unregistered evaluation mode. To fix this, you need to register the plugin by clicking the Scaler EQ logo, selecting “Registration,” and then entering the license file and the email address associated with your Plugin Boutique account“. This explanation, however, does not apply to me because I did upload the license file and did enter my email that matches the email address associated with my Plugin Boutique account. Pop up window shows that plugin is registered, but I still get pop-ups every 10 mins.

UPDATE: never mind, looks like I found how to fix it. First, I re-downloaded and reinstalled the plugin, but that did not fix the problem (although maybe it was a required first step, hard to say). Then, I found where the plugin stores license file, which is
C:\Users\*YourUserName*\AppData\Roaming\Plugin Boutique\Scaler EQ
and deleted license file “Scaler EQ.license”. This triggered a request to register after plugin was re-loaded. I uploaded the same license file and provided the same email address as before, but for unknown to me reason this stopped pop-up screen from showing up over and over again.
