Sometimes Scaler 3.3 Standalone won’t stop playback when the stop button is clicked. It will cycle through the current session indefinitely. Is there an alternative way to stop playback? Thanks.
Hi @FWSchreck this isn’t something I’ve encountered before. Have you updated to version 3.3.2?
Maybe you could share a screenshot to help me understand exactly what is going on. Are you on the Browse page or Arrange page? And are you using the main sequencer play button at the top of the screen?
If you’d like to share your preset file with me I can try to replicate.

Yes, I’m using Scaler 3.3.2 on Windows 10. This problem occurred more often with earlier versions of Scaler 3, less so now. It can happen on either the Create or Arrange page.
Playback won’t stop when using the spacebar either, or clicking the MIDI Panic button. Navigation between pages becomes difficult when playback won’t stop.
I have to force quit the app and restart, losing any changes from the current session.
I would prefer if Scaler had separate icons for play and for stop. An auto-save feature would be welcome as well.
I’ll send you the preset the next time the issue occurs.
