Scaler 3.3.1 Is now available at [scalermusic.com](http://scalermusic.com) **Scaler 3.3.1** (Released August 17th, 2026) Scaler 3.3.1 is a maintenance update focused on stability, MIDI behaviour and workflow fixes. **Improvements** - Improved stability when hosting third-party VST3 instruments, including **Steinberg HALion 7**. - Improved stability when **saving and reloading large Scaler-hosted sessions using multiple Kontakt instances** and power-intensive third-party libraries. - Resolved crashes experienced by some users when **browsing chord sets**. - Greatly **reduced Scaler 3 Preset and DAW session file sizes** , particularly when using hosted third-party instruments and sample libraries. **MIDI, playback and looping** - **Mute and Solo** now correctly affect MIDI output when using Scaler as an instrument plugin. - **Improved looping behaviour** and reduced cases where stuck notes could occur. - Fixed an issue where adding chord notes below existing notes in the MIDI editor could **preview the wrong note**. **Arrange, scenes and zooming** - Added Insert at Playhead Position and Replace at Playhead Position options to the **Scenes context menu**. - Fixed an issue where clips could become detached from **Scenes** when using Ctrl/Cmd + scroll to zoom on the Arrange page. - Fixed additional zoom-related **clip alignment** issues. - Fixed an issue where creating a second **User Track** could incorrectly create two User Tracks. ---

Scaler 3.3.2 Is now available at [scalermusic.com](http://scalermusic.com) **Scaler 3.3.2** (Released September 29th, 2026) **MIDI Editor and MIDI Export** - Fixed MIDI Editor display issues that could cause missing notes, incorrect chord representations and unwanted blank space before chords. - Exported MIDI now automatically crops empty space at the start of the sequence. **Keys Lock and MIDI routing** - Fixed a Keys Lock routing issue in Chord Notes and Chord Extensions modes where the first note could play an octave too low when using trigger notes C3 and below. **Arrange, Colors and chord behaviour** - Fixed an issue where chord modifiers could fail to retain their state in some instances. - Fixed an issue where the Colors Page could sometimes display incorrect chords. - Fixed an issue where chord colors would not update to match the selected scale until restarting Scaler. **Stability and performance** - Fixed a crash on Windows 11 when saving presets directly to an external drive. - Added further under-the-hood stability and performance improvements to help prevent crashes in certain instances.
