Scaler 3 exports only 1 audio instrument, not all

Hi devs

here is the Scaler 3 state

I tried the Export feature and I found that only the bassline was in the audio
No trace of the Hammond :roll_eyes:
is it regular?

Did you have there chords muted? What you hear in Scaler 3 is what will export in all occasions. That attached is a chord progression Claudio. You can save the preset if you want someone to take a look?

It means that I cannot export chords and grace notes played manually?
OK, not a problem to me because I usually record directly in the DAW

Nevertheless, this information can be useful for those mostly use Scaler 3 as a DAW’s host and/or use Keys Lock extensively

Hi Claudio, as in played and recorded in the user track? MIDI Capture will get what you are playing live but Audio will only export what you have triggered from within Scaler 3. You can send a .zip file if you want.

No, no MIDI capture involved
I usually do the Hammond backing-track using the Keys-Lock feature
In this case I also used Track-Follow for the bassline, and only the bassline was transferred in the audio exported
the chords and grace notes played with the Keys-Lock feature weren’t there

OK, just to clarify. When you hit play in Scaler or your DAW - what you hear, is what will export. Not what you are playing live over the top. Is that the behaviour you are experiencing?

Yes, and I think I heared both instruments, but I am not very sure
I deleted the project already (as I usually if it is not worthy a polish) so I cannot tell
If I try the same workflow another time, I’ll check and inform you
