Scaler 3 Crashing : Cubase 14.0.20 VST3 & Standalone 1.0.7

Just updated Mac OS to Sequoia 15.5 and just noticed scaler 3 keeps crashing when you try to lasso the chord blocks in the ‘Arrange Tab : Main Track’ line. You can copy and drag one chord and change lengths but lasso crashes when going from the End towards the Start.

Is OK on the other Tabs : A Chord Set, B Current Scale, C Main Track.

It seemed ok last week on 15.4. Maybe something to do with Sequoia 15.5

I have a Mac Studio so no problems there.

Appears on the VST3 in Cubase also.

Hi Chris can you confirm this is occurring when building your own chord progression rather than using a preset? I made a Nice Strings preset early in Beta and it crashes when you do this. We will replace that preset in 3.1

Yes it was my own progression. I have only just bought scaler and it was made on 1.0.6 but also crashed on 1.0.6

This is a copy of the preset that crashes it if this helps.

I made a fresh version and it lasso’s ok.

I’m in the same boat wth Cubase 14.0.20 and Scaler 3 - 1.07 - and Windows 11 - 23h2.
I can no longer work with that version. It’s crashes (freezes) Cubase withn 10 minutes when I’m editing or working on performances. I have sent the crash dump file to Scaler Audio. I have another if you need it.

Is there any place I can download an earlier version of Scaler 3 (1.05, 1.06?) so I can contiinue having fun?

I have had to revert back to Scaler 2 and I miss Scaler 3!!! :grinning_face:
