Scaler 3.2 is crashing Reaper

Scaler 3 Support Bug Reports

Scaler 3.2 is crashing Reaper (v7.53) on Windows 10.
It craches even if I load it into an empty project.

Standalone version works.

How do I re-install Scaler 3.1 while you fix this?
(I know you should not ever install new version while working on a project)

Hi @Ste ,

I also have Reaper 7.53 / Scaler 3.2, but on Win 11.

Did you do the clean install of Scaler 3.2? I intentionally did not do it in order to see if there will be problems, but there was none so far. Maybe this could fix the issue.

Also, can you provide the error message from Event Viewer for the event that caused crash?

Thanks @Miki, But I tried with a clean install. Deleted the “Scaler 3.settings” and Uninstalled /installed Scaler.

I would expect to find Scaler 3.vst (or Scaler 3.vst3), but I see Scaler3.exe, which is standalone.
