I’m finding that Scaler 2.x struggles to detect very staccato chords in a way that Scaler 1.x does not. In short, the new Scaler seems much slower to notice MIDI.
Steps to reproduce (for me):
- Open Logic 10.5
- Start a new project
- Add a track with a software instrument and Scaler
- Record some chords into the track. Make sure you play very short notes, as you might on a synth with a long release
- Try to detect the chords with Scaler 2. For me it usually misses about half of them, on a mid-2015 MBP with 16GB and 2.8Ghz i7.
