# Scaler 1.8 Settings Not Saved

I have noticed that Scaler 1.8 in both Cubase and Ableton are not saving the settings. When you close the project and open it back up you have to go back into Scaler and pick the scale again. I also noticed that the VST3 version still does not pass sustain pedal info. This has been an issue for a long time. Why no fixes?

Hi @dspdoc

We will have a look at what’s going on with the saved selected scale in Ableton Live and Cubase.

Regarding the sustain pedal in VST3, it’s an issue specific to VST3 and we couldn’t find a fix last time. It’s still on the roadmap so we will get to it.
