OK, I’m a dummy. I can’t find any release notes or feature/fixes list for 2.3. Any help appreciated. And while I’m on the subject, I love Scaler.

Is there supposed to be an email update with new versions as I seem to be missing the updates & I’m keen to try the new releases?

I usually find out here. Checking the release notes I found out about 2.3 on the day it came out. It was a nice surprise as I wasn’t expecting it.
