I would really love if on the main track you could play the chord progression in live instead of having to use the blocks to drag out lengths etc.it would speed up work flow dramatically for me. Is this possible?
Hi @BDS24 You can do this on the User Track, this gives you the ability to record your own rhythm and use the main track to use chord blocks to cover the rhythmic length of one chord and allow your Motion tracks to follow.

Good idea, and good to know that Scaler has implemented this feature.
My workflow is to record from Scaler onto DAW tracks, playing the chords live. You can also use Scaler as the input to other VST instruments and record them on other tracks at the same time. This has the advantage of recording the chord MIDI notes on the instrument track as well as Scaler’s placeholder notes on the Scaler track.
