I wasn’t sure how else to title this ![]()
After using Scaler 3 quite a bit, I’ve found that it works best when you are willing to use it as a DAW. However, I just want to create patterns (similar to Scaler 2). Is there a button/setting to just work in pattern mode (Pattern 1, Pattern 2, Pattern 3, etc.) and not deal with a timeline (like what I have in my actual DAW)? I know how to work-around it, just curious if this feature exists.
I’m familiar with the “Sync to DAW” setting, but in Scaler 3, that will force the Scaler timeline to match the DAW timeline. In Scaler 2, you could work in patterns no matter where in the DAW timeline you are in, so I can work on a specific section and work out my patterns. In Scaler 3, I have to copy/paste the pattern to match the DAW timeline, which isn’t ideal (for me).
Thanks!!
