Wow, this is so maddening. So my current scale is C# minor, which is referenced in the B section (current scale) with the C# minor chords as triads. I go up to section A (chord set) to select some chord progressions. So I choose common chord progressions, and then I pick a variation like colored or thickening. As soon as I choose a variation the key switches to C major and the chords of C major are listed in both A and B section. How could this possibly be happening. I love the thickening variations, but they can only be used with C major. This makes no sense to me. Please help, thank you, Gordon ---

Don’t be mad. It’s just understanding how the software works. Scaler 1,2,3 have worked the same way. When you select a chord set it adapts to the scale of the chord set. makes sense. You can use the lock to keep the scale whilst browsing the chord sets. Or move the chords to section C then choose the scale. Please take some time to read the manual or at the least watch these videos. Thank you for your response. I will try to move forward and learn how to deal with this beast that doesn’t want to do what I want it to do 1/2 the time - at least for now. Btw, I must say, your patterns/articulations and the way they are organized are incredible and inspiring and your preset samples are some of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever heard. Where is the lock for the current scale in section B? ---

Hi! The lock is in section A to the right, next to ‘semi’. If you click that it’ll solve the problem being discussed here. ---

Thank Pete. When you use the lock in Section A, do you also expect it to lock the Current Scale in Section B?
