I treated myself to an iPad Pro 11 M5 last June. Of course, I also bought myself Scaler 3 for IpadOS and I felt at home immediately.
Cubasis (IpadOS) seems to have a problem to remember midi routing when changing the track to adjust the midi routing on another track. As I did this in a livestream yesterday, a viewer confirmed he could verify the problem. So do not blame Scaler 3. It is a Cubasis bug. (I hope it is a bug, otherwise this would be aweful for an intended behaviour.)
