How do I get a Bb sus4 triad?

As per the topic… I see the Bb sus2 triad.. but not sus4 ?

I’d share an image of what I’m seeing, but I’m told I can’t embed media in a post.

If it’s only an image (screen shot), just copy/paste to the post. Like this.

Hi @DoYouLikeHam - Its there. There are many ways to search for chords in Scaler 3. Try the Circle of Fifths page in the Create tab. Search for ‘Bb Sus’ and you will see it there or even Suggest Mode usually shows Sus2s and Sus4s.
If you haven’t already the onboard tutorial, YouTube videos and manual are great resources to discover the many ways to do things in S3.

Thx, @davide — I went through all the training materials back in the Scaler2 days.. but haven’t used it since… just recently upgraded to 3 and now has a better idea of what I want to be doing with it

Thx for the tips!

@davide one more quick question on this, I think…

Why when the Bb sus4 is played, does the “Octaves” option (as well as Inversion and Semitones) become inactive?

(I do have the Scaler3 videos all in my Youtube ‘watch later’ list… I’ll get to them and surely blow my mind w/ the possibilities ;). )

Are you on the Arrange page (the third tab)?

I just added that chord to a progression and I can change the Octaves, Inversion etc on the Midi Editor section.

@boingy I added from the circle of 5ths tab as @davide suggested… I just removed and re-added it again, and can now change the octave, etc.. (gremlins, I suppose)
