# Ezbass crash due to "showed played note" selected

Hi there

I had a crash yesterday trying to use Scaler for bebop 😀, asked for support, and quickly received the message below:

> We have seen crashes with EZbass when the “showed played note” is enabled in the plug-in.
> 
> Please try to disable the “showed played note” display in Settings \> General. Does that help? You can do this in the standalone or in the plugin itself
