# Export performance bug?

Hi There,

Most of the time when I press “Midi Capture”, perform a melody with a chord set, then press stop and drag the midi, it produces a file that’s a length of 100,000 bars or more and is empty…

Help.

Hmm that was a bug in a very old beta. Did you have a beta installed and if not what version of Scaler are you using (right click the logo and look bottom left). Reinstall and reboot and if problem occurs please post your os/daw/scaler specs here
