Detect record mode shutting off + other issues and a?

Hi,

When I engage record in detect mode, upon playing the first chord or note, it immediately goes out of record and also cuts the notes off even though I’m still holding them down on my controller. It records the chord, but I have to hit record again to proceed detecting. Sometimes on the second or third chord it behaves normally and doesn’t stop recording, but other times it repeats the behavior of cutting out of record. Any idea why this is happening?

Also, I have set a default velocity for playback of chords, but it often ignores the default and plays back at a very high velocity. Even when I reset it, it will then play back my preferred velocity on the chords that I detected, but if I play back chords from the other 2 sections below, they are at the very high velocity

A question - I like to work in scale mode learning different scales. I would love to be able to have a few scales open and easily switch between them. If there’s a way to do this, I haven’t found it. Is there a way? If not will Scaler 3 allow this?

I’m running Scaler2 V2.9.7 r2 in Logic 10.7.6 on an intel Mac Mini

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
