# Copying Chord Names

Can you really no longer copy chord names in Scaler 3? I used to always copy and paste them into any MIDI region I had exported into my DAW, but now I don’t see a way to do this. If anything, Scaler should automatically place the chord names in the exported MIDI. If I am wrong and there is a way to do this, please let me know, but I can’t find it in the manual.

You are correct, we talked about missing the “chord label” feature. No mention yet if or when it is coming back. But we miss it.

I noticed this, but I also noticed that my DAW, Reaper, stopped putting chord names even with Scaler 2 (and this worked fine for years). So, I am not sure where is the problem. Which DAW do you use?

Miki, I just confirmed again - Scaler 2 chord labels still transfer to Reaper v7.35 as always.

Hm, strange. Not my case. It worked in 7.07, but not in 7.35. No idea when it worked for the last time.
