Hello!

I’m still new here and getting acquainted with Scaler, and I have a question. I’m using the plugin under Logic Pro X.

When I select the appropriate chords and drag them into a MIDI track in Logic Pro, it drags all the notes of the chord. However, in tutorial videos, I see that when they drag the chords into the MIDI track, only one bar appears for each chord, not like mine, where every note is shown separately.

Could you please explain this to me, or let me know in which lesson I can find an explanation for this?

Thank you very much!

Hi @Ashen and welcome to the forum.

What you see in Davide’s video are trigger notes that trigger the chords within Scaler 2 via the Bind function.

Check this video out here which explains the Bind feature:

and this video here which demonstrates using trigger notes in conjunction with bound chords:

Hope this helps and reach out if you have any further questions.

Your screenshot is the correct behavior. Chords by definition are not one note. Where are you see that?

Hi Jamieh!
If you check my screenshot, there is a small picture with frame.
It is there… 🙂

As James said, those are single notes that are triggering the chord pads in Scaler. In the video you can see Davide draw those in.
